This garlic press is amazing! I haven't purchased one in years, and now I know what I was missing out on. It's made of stainless steel so it doesn't have any of those nasty coatings that eventually peel or plastic parts that break. This is one sturdy piece of kitchen equipment that holds a nice amount of garlic. I prefer to do a little at a time but that is just my choice. The cleaning is simple and easy as far as hand washing. I do like to clean it out as I am using it but that is also just my preference. It can also go in the dishwasher but I do recommend cleaning it before. I have not even used a tooth brush on it which you can do. I don't understand how people can complain about the difficulty cleaning it. It's a garlic press that works well - How can you not expect some pieces to be in left in it? A great price for a very solidly built garlic press. Don't waste money on buying a fancier one; you don't need it! Looking forward to seeing more kitchen tools from this vendor.
