The ETA hand2mind 23036 long-stem, dual-scale, digital thermometer is designed for classroom use. It has no glass tube or liquid to break or spill, increasing safety. Temperatures range from -58 to 302 degrees F (-50 to 150 degrees C). The thermometer measures 28cm in length. Students can change from C to F using a one-touch button. Includes a holder that can also be used as a handle. It was earlier known as Part No.: 9848E.

This is the second one I've bought. I'm a professional chef, and I lost the first one. There are a few minor issues. With a lot of use the rubber coating will rub off the buttons, and the plastic cover will stretch some so it won't snap tight. But most importantly it's fast, and accurate. I love the backlight feature. I also had the BBQ edition of this one which looks exactly the same except it's read and has a flame decal. For some reason that one fell apart, while both of these have held up well.
